Donny A. Sheyoputra is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sheyoputra Law Office. Donny founded the law firm in 2011. Previously, he worked for a law firm associated with a leading intellectual property consulting company based in UK for more than 6 years, mostly for anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting areas.
Donny obtained his Bachelor of Law from Airlangga University (‘Unair’) in Surabaya, East Java, and Master of Law from Murdoch University in Western Australia. In 2011, Donny received a scholarship from the Ministry of Defense to obtain his Master in Defense majoring in Defense Management from the Indonesian Defense University (‘Unhan’) in collaboration with Cranfield University, UK.
He is a member of the Indonesian Barrister Association (PERADI). He is also registered as an Intellectual Property Consultant at the Directorate General of Intellectual Property. Donny has extensive experience in providing advice to his clients, both domestic and international. Working for more than 24 years in the legal field, Donny has demonstrated his knowledge and high dedication in representing clients which has earned him the trust to handle various legal cases, especially IP, criminal law, civil law, business law and family law. In his spare time, he likes to read and is interested in Indonesian history, especially the Indonesian Army.
